BlackBerry 9000

The new renowned BlackBerry 9000 series is a touchscreen phone with a lot of other cool and sexy features like HSDPA, 3G radio and a top-of-the-line 600Mhz processor. A new back-Up/Restore keeps all your data and settings safe in a memory card. It’s a great idea for PCs, so why not a BlackBerry?

The picture of the BlackBerry 9000 makes it out as an iPhone rival, but will it also spell the end of the CrackBerrys? It’s supposed to come out early 2008, just in time to take iPhone 2.0 on.

Can iPhone Beat Blackberry

The Blackberry is a wireless handheld device. Which supports push e-mail, mobile telephone text messaging, Internet faxing, web browsing and other wireless information services. The latest GSM Blackberry models hag an Intel PXA901/312 MHz processor, 64MB flash SDRAM.

The iPhone is an Internet enabled multimedia mobile phone. It has a multi touch screen with virtual keyboard and buttons. The iPhones function includes those of camera phone and a portable media player. It supports edge data technology. The iPhone allows conferencing; call holding, call merging, caller ID, and integration with other cellular network features and iPhone functions. The iPhone features a built in 2-mega pixel camera, without a flash, located on the back for still digital photos. It has built in accelerometer that detects when you rotate iPhone from portrait to landscape, then automatically changes the contents of the display.

If we compare both these mobiles we will see that Blackberry smart phones does not have a touch screen. This is one area in which some window mobile devices differ, as for some phone edition they have a touch screen. Like Blackberry iPhone currently does not have instant messaging, MMS, or copy/cut/paste. Blackberry has a nice balance between size and features. Blackberry keyboard is separate from the display, which mean it doesn’t take up screen real estate like the iPhone keyboard does. Both the iPhone and curve come with a 2-mega-pixel camera, but the curves camera has an automatic flash built in, which makes pictures turn out much better than iPhone. The most important thing for iPhone to remain competitive is to bring their prices.

Still we will say that Blackberry is better than iPhone in some cases, but if we see for the demand of people we will divide Blackberry and iPhone in two categories. People whose priorities are email, SMS and IM are more likely to purchase a Blackberry and people whose priorities revolve around music, pictures and mobile web browsing are probably going to prefer an iPhone.
