iPhone 2.0.2 : Still has 3G bugs un fixed

Apple Inc. updated the iPhone’s software Monday afternoon, but according to first reports posted to the company’s support forum, the new 2.0.2 firmware has not fixed users’ 3G reception problems.

As it did two weeks ago when it released iPhone 2.0.1, Apple gave no details of today’s update contents, stating only that it included “bug fixes.”

Users expecting to see a fix for long-running 3G reception issues, however, were mostly disappointed. The majority who posted messages on the subject to Apple’s support forum after installing iPhone 2.0.2 said that the update had not solved their problems, which included dropped calls, weak signal strength and slow surfing speed

Coolest Electric Bike(2008)

The coolest looking electric scooter which is seen yet before is so cool that it featured a lot on all the technology blogs over the last month. Based solely on looks and specifications, the IKOO looks like a winner, with a “surgical stainless steel” frame and disk brakes. We haven’t ridden the IKOO which the manufacturers claim is zippy with its powerful 600W EQuake S6 electric motor, a range of 18 miles and a top speed of 18 mph. The production company also claim that it provides optimal balance between speed and range though it’s our opinion that if you’re going for a scooter in the 400-600W range, having a pedal option so you can assist the motor is a massive boon to the range and usability of the machine.

Sony & Toshiba To Outsource LCD Mnaufacturing

TOKYO, Aug 16 (Reuters) - Sony Corp (6758.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and Toshiba Corp (6502.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) are set to sharply increase the percentage of their LCD televisions outsourced to Taiwanese manufacturers as a cost-cutting move, the Nikkei business daily said on Saturday.

While both companies will continue to make LCD televisions at their own factories, they hope to meet growing demand through electronics manufacturing services EMS firms in Taiwan.

Sony, which outsourced production of roughly 500,000 LCD televisions to Taiwanese firms in the 2007 business year, is set to raise this to more than 3 million in the current business year ending in March 2009, the Nikkei said.

To do so, it is believed to have signed a contract with Hon Hai Precision (2317.TW: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), the paper added.

Toshiba has contracted out LCD television production to Compal Electronics (2324.TW: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), with that firm expected to make a bit more than 20 percent of Toshiba’s planned LCD television shipments for the 2008 business year.

Officials at both companies were not available for comment.

Sony said in May that it aims to sell 17 million LCD televisions in the year to next March, up from 10.6 million in the year just ended.

The company, which traditionally has strengths in mid-range to high-end products, plans to launch low-cost, entry models this year, broadening its Bravia LCD television lineup. (Reporting by Elaine Lies; Editing by Kim Coghill)

In initial stage of the computer, obsolete electronic parts had been used which were replaced by new creations, inventions and new researches and further more effective and more useful computers. In a nutshell the obsolete electronic parts are the cause of creation and invention of new electronics parts and components including integrated circuits.

Electronic circuit have got different object and different purposes for which an electronic circuit would be prepaird by an enginier for a specific object. Every electronic circuit has its one or more objects. It’s a long topic, and I think I can’t cover the whole story in a single post, just sharing a snap of latest electronic circuit, i.e. integrated circuits, which has the world in a small pack.
